Is there an email address I can use to ask questions on how to proceed with getting Greek citizenship? I am not sure where to start. I have two sets of grandparents that were born in Greece. I was going to start with my mother’s side, hoping that would be enough to prove lineage, and that I could gather those documents for that side of my family. Both of my mother’s parents were born in the Kalavryta area. They came to the USA early (my grandmother was 14, I am not sure how old my grandfather was. They married here, I believe). I was told by a cousin that I have to first establish my mother’s parents registrations, and then my mother’s birth, then her marriage certificate, then my birth certificate. This is very overwhelming. Is there a way to get assistance? Should I be following the steps under “Greek_nationality_by_declaration_due_to_birth_to_a_Greek_mother” and first sending documents as if I were my mother? Any help you can provide is appreciated. I am in the USA, and eventually my end goal is to also get citizenship for my children. Thank you!
